Dear Fashion Design Internship,

 

I am writing to express my interest in applying for a work experience position within your company.

 

I am about to complete the first year of a Fashion Design degree at Birmingham City University.

 

During which time I have gained experience within a wide range of fashion design skills, including drawing, an eye for colour and texture, and the mechanical skills, such as sewing and cutting all types of fabrics. Personal Statement

With the change of time and place, fashion design is affected by cultural and social latitudes. Therefore fashion designer plays an important role in the world. They try to design functional and beautiful clothes to the public, as well as considering how to lead the fashion trend.

 

Choosing fashion design as my major, as I have a strong interest in clothes and fashion. I always research fashion trends through media, trade shows and comparative shopping. I have a talent in drawing, also have four-year career as a student. By learning fashion design degree at Birmingham City University, it adds to my beliefs in learning design. I have learned a lot from it and found it interesting.

 

As a fashion design student, I have a deep knowledge of previous styles and current trends. In addition, I am highly skilled in drawing and able to use computer programs for the creation of designs. Furthermore, I have passion on design and therefore I will have enough patience. For special skills, I think my excellent communication skills will help me a lot. For my work experience, I have worked as a clothing plane model for a hottest web site in China.

 

In the future, I wish to become a fashion designer by using my current knowledge to design a wide range of clothes for public and   continuous learning and progress.
